A few kilometers from Gaillac, in the direction of Cahuzac-sur-Vère, discover a small village of white stones, a small island of tranquility in the middle of an ocean of vines that stretch as far as the eye can see.

Dressed all in white

On the slope of a hill, Bronze displays its most beautiful finery of white stone and lights up to the rhythm of the lights and the seasons. From this peaceful little village, one can guess a warlike past, when one passes through the ogival gate wedged between two massive towers which evoke in an instant the defensive aspect of its ancient walls.

In the Middle Ages, the village had natural defenses reinforced by a moat dug into the rock. The houses were grouped around the castle and tightened within an enclosure pierced by this single ogival door. The adjoining building which is today the town hall, displays the vestiges of this period in the organization of the openings and the modenatures.
