Domaine Roméli

Roméli is located on the right bank of the Tarn, in the town of Cahuzac sur Vère (81140).
The Estate is located on the slopes of Tarn, in the heart of the Gaillacois vineyard, well exposed and bordered by black woods (Bosc Négre in Occitan).
The 14 HA property is made up of woods, meadows, 6.5 HA of vines in production with a small house and its cypress at its heart. (Domain logo).
Management of the vines organically (AB conversion in progress) with simple guyot pruning on all grape varieties except an old plot of Loin de L'oeil in goblet, shallow tillage, mechanical weeding and planting of sowing every other row between November and April to decompact the soil and provide a little nitrogen.
Two white grape varieties: Mauzac and Loin de L’oeil “Len de L’el”
Three red grape varieties: Duras, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon
Our young Estate is in the process of restructuring with grubbing up and replanting projects for 2024 and 2025 and the construction of an operating building on site very soon!
2022 is our first vintage.
The bottle range is made up of an AOP Gaillac red (Syrah/Duras), an AOP Gaillac Rosé (Gamay/Duras), an AOP Gaillac Premières Côtes 100% Mauzac and an IGP Côtes du Tarn (Muscadelle/ Far from the Eye) semi-dry, very little sweet and fruity.
The bag in box range in 3 L cubes consists of a 100% Syrah red IGP Côtes du Tarn and a dry white IGP Côtes du Tarn.
