09:30 • Meet your guide at the Maison des métiers du cuir: a real history book on the industrial heritage of the town of Graulhet, the Maison des Métiers du Cuir offers a fascinating journey through a restored former leatherworks factory, where you will be told all the secrets of the metamorphosis of the skin and the profession of leatherworker and leatherworker. A difficult profession, each step of which will be explained through anecdotes and testimonials. Possibility of purchasing small leather goods (handbags, purses, etc.).
You cross the street to enter the world of an old leatherworks recently restored by Maroquinerie Fourès for a completely immersive guided tour, in the heart of this authentic workshop to which your host offers you a preview: "We will introduce you to the fundamentals of this material that we will touch and decipher: full grain or split, vegan or not, cowhide or lamb, etc. We will then follow the creation of a product, step by step: the puzzle of cutting, the precision of preparation, the ingenuity of assembly, the magic of stitching, the attention to detail. Leather goods will no longer hold any secrets for you!

We wander around the factory, alongside the craftsmen and their machines. We can observe the gestures and techniques up close, we touch the material and we ask questions freely. Each visitor realizes the complexity of making a product and the talent of our team!

14:00 p.m. • Departure for the village of Lautrec for a guided tour of this true medieval history book, proud to be classified among the "most beautiful villages in France". It is called the Mill of our hearts and it remains one of the few to still produce flour and has adorned the landscape since 1688. You will continue your stroll along these small steep streets with beautiful facades, a stop at the Saint Rémy collegiate church before being welcomed at the Sabotier workshop for a real journey into the past.
