The guided tour tells you about the trades related to tanning. It takes you to the river, to the attics, passing by the leatherworks. The free tour allows you to discover the site, alone or with your family, in complete freedom.

Housed in a former factory on the banks of the Dadou, the Maison des Métiers du Cuir is dedicated to the leatherworking trades. From the river to the leatherworks, the visit reveals the stages of transformation of a hide into leather.
Graulhet is still today a mecca of French leather, heir to a centuries-old local culture.

The omnipresence of the tanneries is combined with an intense network of shapes, a true architectural signature of the city. Mixing industrial past and present, these unique patterns mark the floor of the hide dryers and guide you from factory to factory.
