Château de Foucaud

Built in the 1934th century, the castle, listed as a Historic Monument, is surrounded by a park and beautiful gardens. It has housed the Museum of Fine Arts since XNUMX.
The Château de Foucaud was built on the plan of an Italian villa, the Villa d'Este, along with several other buildings, thus forming a whole ensemble: a reading room, an orangery, former stables, an open-air theatre and a rose garden.
The castle, with the park, is classified as a “Historic Monument”.
Completely restored in 1995, the castle now houses the Gaillac Museum of Fine Arts.
