Les Gîtes de La Soursol

It is a pretty farm, several hundred years old, located on the banks of the Tarn. These old buildings, renovated inside and carefully decorated in the taste of the old, retain their walls in red bricks and pebbles patiently dug from the bed of the Tarn. The henhouse, the woodshed, the Chapel, the old pigsties are organized around a shaded and grassy patio planted with magnificent trees. The arcades all around evoke the image of a cloister.
Leisure center 2km away, Aiguelèze (swimming, water sports, tennis, golf, fishing), the opportunity for a pleasant bike ride.

La Soursol, its patio, its large park, give you a feeling of serenity, in the heart of the Pays des Bastides, very close to the excitement of Albi, its famous Episcopal City, and the thousand-year-old vineyard of Gaillac.


** THE COTTAGE **
Les Gîtes de La Soursol is a set of two gîtes to accommodate 10 people, organized in two different buildings, with covered terrace and large garden at the front. The gîte accommodates 6 people in the old chicken coop and 4 in the old pigsties, on either side of the cloister.
The owners live in the house next door during the summer, with independent access.

Very large garden where your children can run around and enjoy the games and the swing set, beautiful covered terrace ideal in case of strong heat or mixed weather for eating outside, barbecue.


** The Henhouse for 6 people:
150m² building with large living room - open kitchen, dining table, lounge area with TV and board games, and toilet on the ground floor.
Fully equipped kitchen with oven, microwave, refrigerator with freezer compartment, dishwasher, filter coffee maker and Nespresso Vertuo® pod coffee maker, kettle and multi-function robot (chopper).
Upstairs: three bedrooms (two with bunk beds 90x190cm and a third bedroom with bed 140x190cm). Bathroom with bathtub and sink.
The Henhouse can be rented alone (for 6 people), with the reference G1055 on Gîtes de France.


** The Piggeries for 4 people:
On one level, this 50m² building is located on the other side of the courtyard.
Small living room with dining area and armchairs in the kitchen. Open kitchenette with oven, microwave, top fridge, small dishwasher, 2-burner hob, kettle and filter coffee maker.
Two bedrooms: one with a 140x190cm double bed and the second with two 90x190cm single beds.
Shower room with shower, toilet, sink and washing machine.
Electric heating and/or heating with wood stove (in Le Poulailler).

Very large park and enclosed green spaces (approximately 1 hectare of fenced garden)
Rugby/football pitch and swing for children
Ping-pong
Shelter for meals and aperitifs in case of extreme heat
Bicycle storage.
