Detached stone house close to the owners, full of family history, from the end of the 19th century. It is located in an isolated hamlet perched on a hill, in the heart of the Aveyron gorges and a few steps from the Grésigne national forest.
*The cottage
Independent house of 90m² located in a hamlet of around ten houses.
Access to the gîte with around ten steps, located on the first floor above the cellar.
– Living room: large living room of 35 m² with dining area facing the working fireplace. Open kitchen equipped with a gas hob, dishwasher, combined microwave oven, filter coffee maker, kettle, toaster and fridge with freezer compartment
– Lounge in a room adjoining the living room with sofa, armchair, TV and DVD player
– Shower room with shower, toilet and sink
– Bedroom 1: 140x190cm bed and 2 beds distributed in a 90x200cm bunk bed
– Bedroom 2: 140x190cm bed and baby bed
Outside, there is no shortage of green spaces as you can roam around the hamlet, just like at home. Attached to the gîte, you have a forest table to enjoy your grilled food prepared on the stone barbecue just opposite.
A laundry room below the cottage is equipped with a private washing machine, an ironing board and iron, and a clothes horse.
Tourist attractions:
Penne Fortress just 3km from the cottage, or 40min on foot for the more adventurous. All you have to do is pack a picnic in your backpack and head out for a day in the countryside, forgetting your car.
For hiking enthusiasts: marked path just 700m from the gîte.
In the village of Penne, you will find grocery store, bars, restaurant…
Supermarkets and shops in Caussade, Négrepelisse, Montauban. Numerous open-air markets throughout the week, not forgetting Saint Antonin Noble Val and its famous Sunday market!
To go further (but not too far), Albi, the must-see, classified as a UNESCO world heritage site, Cordes-sur-Ciel is only 30 minutes by car from your gîte. Just as much as to go to Gaillac, Puycelsi or Castelnau-de-Montmiral. Otherwise, the beautiful Montauban is 40 minutes away.
Not forgetting Bruniquel, Puycelsi, Montricoux, Najac, Beaulieu Abbey, Saint Cirq Lapopie…
