La Maison des Chênes

Welcome to the House of Oaks

Surrounded by century-old oaks, a picturesque farm typical of Gaillac, restored and equipped with all the comforts for a relaxing, peaceful stay in the heart of a region with a thousand-year-old heritage.
You are here in the centre of the Vineyard, halfway between Cordes-sur-Ciel, Gaillac and Albi, whose Episcopal City was recently listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The gîte:
Completely independent, on a large 2 hectare park, with private fenced swimming pool.

– Ground floor: living room with 4K TV and wood-burning stove, fitted kitchen, laundry room with dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer and second fridge with freezer, and bathroom with bathtub and toilet.
Behind the living room is a spare bedroom, separated with curtains for additional sleeping if needed.

– Upstairs: a master suite with a 160x200cm bed, two other bedrooms (one with a 140cm bed and a 120cm bed, and the second, narrower, equipped with a 140cm double bed and a 90cm single child's bed).
Still upstairs, a bathroom with bathtub and sink, and a shower room with shower and toilet.

– Exterior: large terrace in front of the kitchen to enjoy an outdoor meal, and a second fully covered terrace behind the cottage with pleasant garden furniture.
Private swimming pool secured by a barrier all around. 12x5m swimming pool with deckchairs and parasols.

You can easily park near the cottage, under the shade of the large oak trees. Baby equipment on request: bed, bath and high chair.

The cottage is located near the wine-growing village of Cahuzac-sur-Vère, at the top of a hill, surrounded by a park planted with magnificent oaks, flowering hedges and fragrant honeysuckle. A few horses graze in a meadow above the cottage. Your children can frolic in the park and woods, while you relax by the pool.

Sheets and towels provided, end of stay cleaning service available. Heating and electricity extra in winter
