La Grave

This cottage offers you total independence in its enclosed and wooded park of 2000 m². Backed by a grove and bordered by vines, you will have the opportunity in season to taste the bunches of grapes. Ideally located in the center of the Albi - Castres - Toulouse triangle, you will have plenty of time to discover this region full of colors and flavors: blue of the pastel, red of the saffron whose culture is reborn in the Tarn, Gaillac vineyards ... and to fully enjoy these landscapes of gentle hills that you can crisscross through woods, meadows and vines.

Another contrasting aspect of this region: the leather industry that once made Graulhet world-famous, 6km away. Today, the know-how and craft of the leatherworkers can be discovered at the Maison des Métiers du Cuir, a museum housed in a former leatherworks.

Shops are 2 km away for the bakery, pharmacy, butcher, hairdresser... 6 km away for supermarkets. Hiking trails are all nearby.


** THE COTTAGE **

Totally independent, large enclosed garden, covered terrace with charcoal barbecue (provided) and electric plancha; you can enjoy the view of the surrounding woods and meadows. You can thus, as in the photo, observe the squirrel family coming to nibble the seeds brought, and see that you are in bird paradise.

Animals are welcome, no participation is required. The land is completely enclosed.

On the ground floor:
– large air-conditioned living room with open kitchen, dining table and lounge area with TV
* kitchen equipped with a vitroceramic cooker, electric oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, Senseo® filter and pod coffee maker, kettle, hand blender.
– bedroom with double bed 140x190cm,
– small reading/work room. Ideal for teleworking with its small office and fiber,
– bathroom with shower cabin and sink
– separate toilet
– large garage with tiled floor where you can park your car; it contains the washing machine and a sink.

Upstairs: second air conditioning unit at the top of the stairs to cool the two bedrooms
– bedroom with 2 single beds 90cm
– bedroom with 140cm double bed and wardrobe
– separate toilet.

Baby equipment available (cot, bath and high chair). An outdoor clothes horse and a small indoor clothes rack are available.

NB: An electric plancha is available during these dry periods when the use of the barbecue is strongly discouraged.


** Hiking: the Sentier des Crêtes is accessible 200 meters from the cottage. Loop of approximately 3 hours over 11,3 km with +236m and -235m. This trail winds through rolling countryside which offers beautiful views of the Dadou valley and, in good weather, of the Pyrenees and the Montagne Noire.


Further information :
Bathroom and table linen provided free of charge. Cleaning products, dishes, dishwasher, and laundry are also provided. Basic products are provided: salt, pepper, oil, sugar, etc.
