La Cour Verte is a peaceful and quiet green setting in the city center. We invite you to stay in this magnificent 18th-century bourgeois house, which we have completely renovated. You can stay for a minimum of one week, or…
The guest house La Cour Verte is transformed into a gîte from May to September. In the heart of the golden triangle "Gaillac/Cordes sur Ciel/Albi (listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site)”, close to the most beautiful fortified towns in the South West: Cordes-sur-Ciel, Puycelsi, Penne, Castelnau-de-Montmiral… You can go there by car, by bike, or by hiking through the vineyards if you feel like it…
In town, just a stone's throw from the house (no car required), you'll find all the local food shops. If you prefer country markets, Gaillac offers three per week: the large Friday market, the more modest Sunday market, and finally the organic market on Tuesday evening.
The many restaurants and bars welcome you for a refreshing and gourmet stroll.
Push open the door, the hall and its majestic stone staircase invite you to fall under its spell
Inside, you will find generous volumes, subtle hues, and careful decoration, without ostentation.
On the ground floor, the kitchen is fully equipped with a cooker, refrigerator, freezer, coffee machine, dishwasher, etc. Everything you need for cooking! The adjoining room is the large dining room, ideal for sharing meals with family, when the weather does not allow them to be taken in the garden.
On the second floor, you'll find five bedrooms, all air-conditioned, a real comfort during hot summer nights. Each bedroom sleeps two (160x200cm bed), while the fifth sleeps four, each with its own bathroom.
Outside, the large garden offers peace and quiet, dominated by a superb two-hundred-year-old magnolia tree. It will provide shade during the hottest part of the day and will preside over your evenings. The swimming pool (shallow, 1,40 m, salt-treated) will allow you to cool off and relax on its large wooden terrace. And perhaps you'll want to play a game of pétanque under the magnolia!
