Cammarc

You will be welcomed by the owners in their converted outbuilding at the entrance to the farm. The gîte is a character house in the small hamlet of Cammarc. It is a 19th century character house, made of white stones collected in the fields, restored while preserving its identity, with ecological materials.
Nearby, explore the medieval town of Cordes-sur-Ciel (voted the most beautiful village in France), the Episcopal City of Albi, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Cap Découverte and the Carmausin Mining Museum.


** THE COTTAGE **
The house is organized in a horseshoe shape around an interior courtyard, with a dovecote converted into a small apartment for the owners who come to spend the weekend on site.
The left wing, comprises on the ground floor:
– a dining room with TV and working wood stove,
– an open kitchen, very well equipped with a cooker and oven, dishwasher, toaster, filter coffee maker, kettle, microwave, American fridge, food processor, steam cooker, etc.
On the upper floor of this left wing, taking the stairs from the living room:
– two bedrooms each with two single beds that can be combined into a double bed
– bathroom with double sink and a separate toilet in the hallway
The adjoining barn (accessible from the kitchen with a second staircase) has become a living room with TV and two convertible sofas, a bedroom that can accommodate 4 people, a shower room and a separate toilet.
All beds are 90x200cm to be combined into double beds.


Outside: a covered courtyard which offers a superb covered terrace with ping-pong table, table football, dining table and plancha; as well as a laundry room with toilet, washing machine and dryer.
When the weather is nice, you will enjoy the playground with a trampoline, slide, basketball hoop and of course, the sublime heated swimming pool in the middle of the fields. 11x5m swimming pool, on a flat bottom of 1,50m with steps and roller shutter, solar shower, deckchairs and pergola.
The wood pellet central heating ensures indoor and pool comfort from May 1 to October 15. Baby equipment (high chairs, bathtub, stroller, bottle warmer, cot and changing table).
