Occitan Tuscany extends between Bordeaux, Montauban and Albi. It represents approximately the north-western quarter of the Tarn department.
Getting there is easy, just go up the Tarn. But if you are not equipped with a gabarre (old flat-bottomed boats, typical of river trade on the Tarn), there are more modern ways to reach us and quickly immerse yourself in magnificent landscapes, an exciting culture and authentic conviviality.

L’Occitanie Rail Tour
Perhaps the more adventurous (and seasoned) will prefer cycling? It's possible too... with strong calves. Otherwise, there's the train with two lines that crisscross Occitanie from Toulouse to Figeac or Rodez via Rabastens, Lisle-sur-Tarn, Gaillac, Cordes-sur-Ciel, and Laguépie before reaching Lot and Aveyron.
The principle
Jump on a liO Train TER/SNCF to travel around for several days: once you have the pass, the number of journeys is unlimited.
Only condition : travel at least 2 consecutive days (up to 6 days).
The cherry on the cake: the possibility oftake your bike on board for free 😃 (subject to availability, up to 6 bikes per train). And if you don't have any, you can rent them directly at the station (see the section on bikes below).

By bike
The stations of Rabastens-Couffouleux, Lisle-sur-Tarn, Gaillac, and Cordes-Vindrac are served by TER trains which accept travelers on bikes!
By car
Otherwise, the car remains the most widespread option with a significant number of charging stations for electric vehicles!
