Maison d’Hôtes Combettes

Le vin de Gaillac et le Pastel étaient exportés en Gabarres depuis le « port de la ville » et les quais Saint Jacques, au pied de la maison.

In the centre of the old GAILLAC, this mansion from the 17th century grants a privileged view over the St-Michel Abbey, the river TARN and the roofs of the old town. Thanks to its situation, you can visit the town on foot or discover the surrounding tourism circuits of the Albigeoises Bastides, the millenarian Gallacois wine-growing area, as well as the Episcopal City of Albi classified World Heritage by the UNESCO.

This very handsome mansion offers its large spaces linked by a magnificent stone flight of stairs, an indoors flowered courtyard. Breakfast is served either in the indoors guests' rm or on the covered terrace. On the 2nd fl.: tastefully furnished, a large lounge and a TV lounge. On the 3rd fl. : 4 bdrms for 2 pers. (3 bds 5ft2, 2 bds 3ft3, baby bd) with own bathrm and WC and 1 suite (1 bd 5ft2, 1 bd 3ft) with own shower rm and WC. Fridge and washing mach.avail.
