From the village, Cordes-sur-Ciel is just 1km away. The view from the balcony of your holiday home is a testament to this, as it gives you an uninterrupted view of this medieval town. And it's not just the village that will have its head in the clouds thanks to this balcony.
Come back down to earth and wander through the narrow streets of Les Cabannes, a village with a rich architectural heritage. You're in the heart of the village, within walking distance of the market and local shops. The village is the starting point for a number of hiking trails. You'll also find the Garissou water sports centre, with its swimming pool, mini-golf course and outdoor activities.
The "Gites de l'Oc" are two guest houses in one in a large building! La Caza (Ref. G1801 on Gîtes de France) sleeps 4 on the left of the house, all on the ground floor. Le Molin (Ref. G1802 on Gîtes de France) sleeps 8, to the right of the house, upstairs in the tower (large spiral staircase).
Each of the 2 guest houses has completely independent access, with only one entrance and the outside area shared.
La Caza, all on one level, is made of white stone and has been decorated in a modern style. Access is from the kitchen with its central dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking up tasty meals: oven, induction hob, microwave, Senseo® coffee maker, dishwasher, etc. A small bench in the corner will be appreciated for an aperitif, unless you prefer to go outside with access to a small terrace adjoining the guest house and its charcoal barbecue.
The living room with its large fireplace welcomes you. TV area and study area. From the lounge, access to the master bedroom with 160x200cm bed, desk and direct access to the outside. Second bedroom with two single beds (90x200cm) that can be combined to create a large double bed (160cm). Shower room and separate toilet.
"Le Molin" is located at the top of the tower, on the 1st floor, all in white stone and exposed beams, where modern decor has also found its place. The living room with its large fireplace welcomes you, while the children enjoy a cocooning corner right next door thanks to the video projector. Then head out onto the balcony, with its stunning views over Cordes-sur-Ciel. Here you can enjoy grilled meats on the barbecue/plancha, while the kitchen/dining room is just next door.
Fully-equipped kitchen opening onto the dining room. A small shower room with toilet adjoins this room.
Upstairs is the sleeping area and a second bathroom with free-standing bath and washing machine.
Bedroom "Corrompis" (13m²): double bed 160x200
Bedroom "Le Dortoir", 33m², which will be the ideal children's area with its table football! The dormitory has two single beds (80x200cm) and a double bed (160x190cm).
Master bedroom: 26m² with large bay window overlooking the living room. Bed 160x200cm and sitting area.
Communal outdoor area with large bean-shaped swimming pool and Zen garden furniture in front of the pool. Two other dining areas are available for guest house occupants.
Flat-bottomed swimming pool, 1.40 m deep, with decking. Heated from April to October, secured with a fence. Pool open from 10am to 10pm.
