Throughout his professional life, my grandfather, Gabriel Rignac, was the cooper of the village of Castelnau-de-Montmiral, while my grandmother Ida - helped by Eulalie my great-grandmother worked on the farm with farmyard animals, cows, cereals and vines of course. When he retired in 1975, he set up his workshop on the farm, to maintain and repair the barrels and barrels of the property as well as those of his former customers and friends. Today, it is me, Aline, his granddaughter with Christophe my husband who have reinvested the place to give them a new and beautiful life.
Our caravan is installed on the site of the old farmhouse of the Château des Mazières, built in 1750, below Castelnau-de-Montmiral, a fortified town classified as a Remarkable Heritage Site. A pleasant stay awaits you, relaxing, in the countryside, with a view of the village, in the middle of fields, woods and meadows.
Located on the circuit of the bastides and in the heart of the Gaillac vineyards, near the Grésigne national forest and 30 km from Albi, you will be ideally placed for hiking, cycling and discovering all the treasures of our beautiful region. In the evening, after relaxing in the Spa, you can sometimes hear the deer talking from one wood to another, during the aperitif. Living room with sofa, folding table, bar stools and kitchen area including: induction hob, dishwasher, microwave and Tassimo coffee pod machine Bedroom with double bed 140 x 200, storage shelves. Shower room with spacious Italian shower, single sink and separate toilet. 26 m² terrace with integrated Spa, garden coffee table and Acapulco-style armchairs, barbecue, ping-pong table, board games, pétanque balls.
