Climbing towards the medieval city, we take the path that passes through the forest. After a few meters and a bend, we are already amazed. In the absolute calm of this quiet road, we stop for a moment to observe the view of Puycelsi. The sun changes colors and colors the sky with shimmering tones, a grandiose spectacle! Arriving at the ramparts of the village, double surprise with the superb panorama over the Vère valley and the Grésigne forest.
Other options: take the Mespel trail or the Heritage trail to admire the village perched on its rocky promontory from the edge of the forest. And from Castelnau de Montmiral, the view from the road leading to the Château de Terride via the hamlet of Laval is also worth the detour!

Cordes sur Ciel
Perched on its hill, it seems to tickle the sky. Let's climb up there to feel less tiny in front of it and observe it in all its splendor. Since Cordes sur Ciel, we head towards Avenue de la République, a small slope of which goes up on the left and leads to a breathtaking view. At the first and last rays of daylight, the clouds envelop the city and seem to bewitch it.

Penne
It seems to have come straight out of a legend or a bewitching tale, so much so that it intrigues us… To discover it in a magical setting, you have to move away from the village of Penne and follow the D9 road. Arriving at the first bend, you can then observe it from top to bottom, the Penne fortress in the shape of an eagle's nest impresses us even more.
