No matter the season, when the sun disappears behind the horizon, it is a magical spectacle that the Tarn nature offers us. In a village whose appearance has changed little through the ages, serenity gradually wins you over.

Enjoy the sunset from the Puycelsi esplanade

Hello Travelers

It is from the top of a rocky plateau overlooking the Vère valley that the one nicknamed the “fortress of the woods” watches over the enchanted forest of Grésigne. Like a clock going back in time, Puycelsi is both authentic and transcendent.

Strolling through the alleys of one of the Most Beautiful Villages in France, you will discover, among the wooden houses from the 14th or 15th centuries, some unmissable artisan shops. Among them, theAloussa Workshop where we admire the artist at work creating pretty enameled porcelain objects or the Oppidum soap factory offering 100% natural and organic products.

When the light becomes softer, take the patrol path nestled inside the ramparts leading to the esplanade to admire one of the most magnificent sunsets in the Tarn, with a view of the Grésigne Forest, the largest oak grove in the South of France.
