STANKO KRISTIC French of Yugoslav origin was born in Slavujevac (Serbia).
1975, he arrived in Paris, worked for interior designers and created luminous masks.
1990 His first personal exhibition at the Galerie “Les Bâches” in Paris encourages him to realize his dream as an artist. He creates vases for the Maison de bijoux Kalinger 60 rue du Fg St Honoré Paris. He decorates and fits out turnkey restaurants.
1993 After his exhibition at the Grand Palais in Paris, he was offered an exhibition at the National Museum of Monaco where “La Souveraine” joined the Prince’s Palace of Monaco.
1995 a friend invites him to Cauterets he wins the grand prize at the show. His friend shows him around the country houses and STANKO falls in love with Cordes sur Ciel where he decides to settle.
2012 an event in Cordes sur Ciel a 6M unicorn will join the private park of a rich owner who has just placed an order for it after his exhibition in Cagnes sur Mer “a sculptor in the city”.
2022 STANKO is still in Cordes. This memorable year of the 800th anniversary of the creation of Cordes. STANKO thanks the Town Hall and its Councilors for having honored him. Then the garden where he worked for 20 years will become the “Stanko Kristic garden”. What an honor for this internationally renowned sculptor who never misses an opportunity to praise his village of Cordes sur Ciel.
