Si les Gaillac m'étaient contés

"If the Gaillacs were told to me" offers you a different way to discover the Gaillac vineyards and its winegrowers through guided walks and hikes in the vineyards, storytelling walks, guided tours and tastings.
"Si les Gaillac m'était contés" invites you to follow your guide, Jean-Christophe, to discover the Gaillac vineyard and its winegrowers in a different way over the centuries, from Gallo-Roman antiquity to the present day. Through guided walks and hikes, over more or less long distances, you will give yourself time to breathe, discuss, observe and appreciate what you see and what you drink, just to taste and enjoy a friendly moment. It is an opportunity to admire beautiful landscapes and the rich wine heritage of Gaillac. Your guide will also become a storyteller during storytelling walks. He will take you, on a short stroll, from the vineyard to the winery and then to the tasting cellar for an end of the afternoon that you will remember at Château Lacroux on the hillsides of Lincarque in Cestayrols. You can book your dates on the gaillaccontes.com website for all these activities.
You can also choose guided tours of cities and fortified towns in Gaillac followed by a tasting in a wine estate. These are half-day services and on request for groups of up to 20 people.
Tastings to appreciate the pairings between local products and Gaillac wines can also be organized. This is an opportunity to share with your friends, family or work colleagues a memorable and friendly taste experience.
Sustainable tourism

The wine tourism activities that I offer to visitors to Gaillac encourage participants to travel gently through the practice of walking during walks and hikes.
The preservation of the environment and the health of the participants is linked to the instructions that I give to not leave any waste after our passage. We must respect the paths, the natural spaces, the wild fauna and flora, as well as the crops.
For the health of the participants, recommendations are made to use sneakers, protect themselves from the sun with a hat or cap and drink water.
Wine tastings remain moderate so as not to encourage excessive alcohol consumption.
Visitor groups are limited to 20 people to avoid overtourism and maintain the comfort of visitors and their guide.
The price of the services is reasonable to give access to these activities to as many people as possible.
