LOCARUSTICMOTO is a rental company of perfectly restored vintage motorcycles and sidecars: machines that are capable of all journeys, which can be used, at their own pace, in the Occitanie, Nouvelle Aquitaine, Auvergne and Rhône Alpes regions, outside the ZFE (low emission zone): this offer is unique in France.
Using these perfectly reliable machines is an experience in itself.
LOCARUSTICMOTO does not impose any license seniority conditions or mileage limitations, and offers very low rates: the only limitation is the age of the renter, who must be at least 20 years old.
This motorcycle and sidecar rental agency is run by a vintage motorcycle enthusiast, Frédéric Bedel, who believes that the place of vintage motorcycles is on the road and not in museum displays!
The fleet of rental machines (all insured) changes every year: for 2025:
– Machines requiring a motorcycle license (A2 license is sufficient): two 250 solo and two sidecars
– Machines that can be driven with a B license (if the conditions imposed by the regulations are met): three 125s.
The fleet of rental motorcycles may however vary depending on demand.
It is also possible to rent helmets and gloves, the quantities of which are however limited.
This is a "dry" rental activity, LOCARUSTICMOTO does not offer "turnkey" trips (with accommodation and catering): however, LOCARUSTICMOTO offers the possibility of following (free of charge) itineraries designed by it, which can also be consulted on its website, combining heritage discoveries, beautiful roads adapted to the rented motorcycles and beautiful landscapes for an enriching experience.

A day of rental corresponds to a maximum period of 24 hours of availability of the vehicle: a period of less than 24 hours is charged for one day of rental (there is no rate per half-day or per hour). ): for example, 8 hours of vehicle availability (rental) will be charged for one day.
This rule applies for the rental of motorbikes as well as for the rental of equipment (helmets and gloves).

• if the driver is a female driver (motorcycle rented by a woman): 10% reduction unless the person concerned objects.
• Group rates (rental of at least three machines, whatever the cubic capacity, or two sidecars): if at least three machines, whatever they are, are rented by as many people who have all announced that they want to benefit from group rates , for the same period, and that these three motorcycles at least are actually rented for this period, the tenants will earn 10% on the price of the rental of the motorcycles: if the motorcycles concerned are the two sidecars, same reduction according to the same principle.
• Insured with the mutual insurance company for motorcyclists with which LOCARUSTICMOTO is a partner: upon presentation of their green insurance card, the customer saves 10% on the vehicle rental rate, obtains free loan of mandatory equipment (helmet and gloves), the quantities and sizes of which are however limited, and benefits from free training in handling the sidecar if the rental concerns a sidecar.
Clarification: these reductions are cumulative (ex: woman + group + insured Mutuelle des Motards = 30%)

Equipment rental prices:
€10 per 24 hours for the rental of a pair of gloves and a helmet: please note, limited quantities.
There is no discount possible for the rental of equipment, except for people already insured by the motorcyclists' mutual insurance company.
Training in handling the sidecar (between 2 and 4 hours, depending on the level of the driver, compulsory): 55 €
This service is mandatory when booking a sidecar: this service corresponds to training in handling an unusual vehicle: flat rate for training intended to raise awareness among the future renter on the particular use of this vehicle, duration between 2 and 4 hours.
Possibility of training pilots of two teams at the same time.
