Peace and quiet, forests, good home cooking and homemade ice cream will be among the highlights of your holiday album.
The hospitality of a gîte or guesthouse takes on its full meaning here: a home-from-home welcome, delicious meals at the guest table, home-style breakfasts, or relaxing by the pool. The Maison d'hôtes de Serène also transforms into a large gîte. You can find the Grand Serène with the reference G1796 on Gîtes de France.
Those who wish can discover farm life, or explore the many hiking trails crisscrossing the Grésigne region and the high plateaus of the Pays de Vaour, or enjoy the forest paths on the property. The Ferme de Serène is located below the guest house. You can see the herd of Aubrac cows with their calves raised under their mothers; or the black Périgord pigs.
Serène is a magnificent stone property perched on a hill, a former Templar farm in Vaour, below the village on the road to Itzac. Nestled in a valley, facing a small cirque with wooded ridges, it exudes a sense of tranquility and serenity.
** THE GUEST HOUSE **
Serène is a large building with the owners in one wing and the guest rooms in another wing. You'll enjoy a large 100m² living room entirely at guests' disposal. The bedrooms are accessed from this space, without having to go through the owners' house. At your disposal:
– The large living room is bathed in light with its bay windows. The wooden beams and stone walls will make you fall under its spell!
– the covered terrace at the back of this living room where you can enjoy breakfast on sunny days with a view of the valley
– the guest house kitchen is freely accessible since the owners have a kitchen at home
Breakfast is of course included in the room rate. Treat your taste buds to homemade jam, morning cake, fruit, local juice, cheese, and more.
Four guest rooms in Serène, each with private bathroom.
– Three double bedrooms with 160x200cm bed, private bathroom and toilet
– A family room for 4 people with bathroom, double sink and toilet
One of the rooms is located on the ground floor, with access for people with reduced mobility.
Pool shared with other guests. Open from June 1st to September 31st. 12x6m saltwater pool with a gradual depth from 1 to 1,80m. It is accessible at all hours.
Baby equipment available upon request. A gîte is also available on site, for 2 people, reference no. G294.
