Maison d'hôtes de La Boissière

La Boissière, a renovated old wine farm, all in white limestone, surrounded by more than 7 ha of woods and meadows (large garden, trampoline, badminton). The estate adjoins the small village of Andillac with its typical Tarn dovecote. A stone's throw away is the Château Musée du Cayla, the birthplace of the writers Maurice and Eugénie de Guérin. La Boissière, with its privileged location in the "golden triangle" composed of Albi (an episcopal city listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site), Cordes-sur-Ciel (a thousand-year-old medieval city) and Gaillac, makes it easy to visit the region with its many vineyards and beautiful country houses, to explore the picturesque hiking trails, the Tarn by bike, etc. The large covered terrace to the south is the central square of our estate, overlooking the large salt pool and the spa, facing the woods. You can enjoy the sunrise in the morning on one side and the sunset in the evening, on the other side, behind the box trees and umbrella pines...

Three guest rooms in La Boissière, and a gîte for five people. Maurice room for two, with double bed and shower room, on the upper floor of the owners' house. Eugénie family room, five people maximum, in an outbuilding, with shower room, two bedrooms (one double bed and three single beds). In summer, the Lodge Tent, with its surface area of ​​45m² including 10m² of covered terrace, is fitted with 3 bedrooms equipped with real beds (one double bed and 3 90 cm beds), a lounge area and an outdoor picnic area with sink and barbecue and a private 5m² bathroom adjoining the house with shower, sink and toilet.
In the morning we spoil you with a varied and balanced breakfast. In the evening, 3 times a week, you have the possibility to book for dinner, a family meal based on fresh products, accompanied by Gaillac wines. For lunch, you can ask us to prepare a picnic basket or sandwiches, small sandwiches or a platter of regional cold cuts. In summer our small bar is open all day long with a wide choice of drinks (regional wine, Belgian beers, sodas, coffee, ...) for a refreshment during the day or in the evening for an aperitif in a friendly setting.
