Comfortable and friendly guest rooms in the countryside, relax surrounded by protected wild flora and fauna.
Sleep in a natural, wild and preserved setting, and let yourself be guided by nature (LPO refuge).
The Aux roses des Cèdres guest house faces the village of Salvagnac, in the Tarn, near Toulouse, Albi, Gaillac and Montauban. In this old 19th century mansion, tastefully restored, come and recharge your batteries in complete relaxation.
It is a haven of tranquility, ideal for nature lovers and travelers looking to disconnect and find serenity. The surrounding area is full of activities for outdoor enthusiasts. Hiking, mountain biking, horse riding or even swimming in the nearby rivers: there is something for everyone. For culture and heritage enthusiasts, the medieval villages, local markets and aperitif concerts in the vineyards will offer you many opportunities for discovery and wonder.
The house is composed of:
– On the ground floor:
* large living room in the entrance where the television gives way to binoculars for observing wildlife,
* dining room with kettle and coffee maker available to guests. This is where you will have breakfast
* a shared toilet,
– Upstairs, the 4 guest bedrooms, each with a 140x190cm bed, private bathroom (shower and sink) and separate toilet.
* Murugan room with its intense blue, Murugan, god of Indian religion invites you to relax.
* Maraval room with its terracotta-colored earthenware coatings
* Savannah Room a sweet mix of styles
* Madame Zouzou room for its slightly Marie Antoinette feel!
Breakfast is of course included with the overnight stay in the room. Free parking is available near the house.
Exterior: in total, 6 hectares of land surround the house, half of which was deliberately left fallow to be in the heart of wild nature. Several ponds where frogs and dragonflies live together, a few beehives, poultry and two geese that frolic peacefully on the property. The Aux roses de Cèdres house is classified as an LPO (League for the Protection of Birds) Refuge, contributing to the maintenance and development of biodiversity.
Jean-Michel can even offer you a walk to discover the plants and observe the animals in the surrounding area together.
