All hands on deck! Whether you are more of an explorer captain or a relaxed cruiser, embark on an unforgettable experience and discover the Gaillac region along the water. What's in store? Unique views of our beautiful region, memorable memories and the promise of finding a bit of freshness in the summer heat. Put on your best outfit and let yourself be carried away...
Swimming in the Tarn
Whether you're more of a splasher or a competitive swimmer, a fervent defender of the pool or more of a wild water team, we're all equal when the sun comes out! So head to the many swimming spots in Gaillac for a well-deserved refreshing break. From the classic pool to the fun version with slides, including the leisure centers offering supervised swimming on the banks of the Tarn, it's impossible not to find what you're looking for. Swimsuit, sunscreen... armbands for the little ones and hop, everyone in the water!
Defying gravity at AquaParc

Brave people from 7 to 77 years old, will you dare to venture onto the inflatable structures of the AquaParc d'Aiguelèze? The aim of the game: to go through them from end to end without falling into the water. A challenge that can be complicated to say the least as the water makes the surfaces slippery, but that's the whole point! Try, slide, fall into the water, try again! The perfect way to combine fun and swimming. A great way to have fun with friends and feel like a ninja while cooling off!
Cruise by barge to Albi
A gabarre? What is that? If you are not familiar with our traditional wooden boats, discover them by boarding one of them directly at the port of Aiguelèze, where you may be lucky enough to meet winemakers who will offer you a tasting of their vintages accompanied by local charcuterie during a gabarre aperitif. Treat yourself to a few hours of peace and quiet and appreciate the charms of the wild Tarn thanks to the eye of your expert guide.
The highlight of the show? The magical arrival under the bridges of Albi and a superb view of the episcopal city listed by UNESCO. No doubt you will get one of the most beautiful photos of what is called "the red city".
Finally, set foot on land and take the time to stroll through this beautiful city: lose yourself in its narrow streets, discover the work of the famous painter Toulouse-Lautrec hidden in the Palais de la Berbie, measure yourself against the largest brick cathedral in the world or simply enjoy a sunny terrace before getting back on board and returning to Aiguelèze for the rest of your stay.

In white water
Paddle or canoe rental
Come and test your sense of balance and your paddle handling with a paddle or canoe trip along the Tarn or the Gorges de l'Aveyron. Beginner or experienced, these waters will allow you to cool off gently while enjoying the surrounding nature: if you are lucky enough to come across some, you will have a front row seat to observe the river's inhabitants, wagtails, herons or kingfishers. For a less relaxing but unique experience, don't hesitate to try out the giant paddles on which you can take up to eight people. Guaranteed laughter!
And to combine heritage and a water ride, the Gorges de l'Aveyron give you an incomparable view of the Penne fortress, clinging to its rocky peak.
