The œnorandos® invite you to discover our vineyard landscapes on foot and to taste (in moderation) delicious Gaillac wines. When hiking meets the vineyard, the whole story of Occitan Tuscany is told. Landscape, heritage, culture… To each his own path.

Discover our œnorandos®

An Œnorando® is a hiking route labeled by the Hiking Federation starting from a wine cellar. The idea: to bring together hikers, wine lovers and winegrowers around a common passion: nature. Very close to the villages and with low differences in altitude, These routes never exceed 8km. Crisscrossing the vineyard paths, they oscillate between pretty viewpoints and typical heritage of the Tarn countryside. A quick tour of the horizon between the Gaillac mountains, Lisle-sur-tarn et Rabastens. are ideal for a family outing. Take your water bottle, your backpack, and off you go!

Lisle-sur-Tarn

Vines and Bell Towers

Starting point near the Borie Vieille estate, at the foot of the Lislois hillsides. This circuit winding between the vines gives pride of place to heritage. There you will come across the Montaigut chapel from where you can enjoy the panorama, the pretty hamlet of Saint-Salvy de Coutens or the Domaine de Cassagnols castle. As the harvest approaches, the scents of grapes become more and more pressing. This is perhaps the best time to enjoy this walk in the heart of nature, accessible all year round.

Rabastens

In the Footsteps of Amédée, the Winegrower

From the Vinovalie cooperative winery, we start quietly with a few meters in town and on a flat path. Moving towards the countryside, we take the heights following the path that runs alongside the vines. An easy walk in the heart of the terroir that is also suitable for mountain bike trails. At the end of the hike, we take the opportunity to return to the winery to taste some red or white wines, and perhaps leave with a few boxes. After the effort, the comfort!

Gaillac

The Pompirac Trail

From Domaine Duffau, on the heights of Gaillac, we follow the markings on the Pompirac path. A walk taking many wooded paths on easily accessible hills. We cross the Hauts de Gaillac route in places, perhaps for next time! In the meantime, we take advantage of this 8 km loop in the vineyards to take a tasting break at the Domaine Duffau cellar. On the way back, we will also find on the road the Chateau Balsamine or Michel Issaly estate.

Gaillac

The Winegrowers' Round

Between Gaillac and Cahuzac-sur-Vère are hidden some of the most beautiful landscapes of the vineyard. Here is a walk to enjoy them without breaking a sweat. From the Domain of the Mill, this walking tour of around 2 hours offers a crossing of the Barreau Estate to the castle of Tauziès near which one reaches a beautiful panorama on a path on the ridge. Arrived at the Laubarel Estate, we go back down through the Mas d'Oustry by hilly paths with gentle slopes. The beautiful views make you want to take out the picnic before the last few meters along the Domaine René Rieux then from Mas des Combes.

Milhavet

From the vine to the olive tree

Top departure at Domaine Gayrard, on the Cordais plateau and its predominantly limestone soils. In a quiet walk of less than 10km, we pass from vineyards to undergrowth, from valleys to heights and we enjoy the gentleness of the landscapes in all seasons.
Some pretty viewpoints lend themselves perfectly to a short break while waiting to reach the Domaine Oléicole Rigaud and its rows of olive trees. We let ourselves be tempted by a few specialties before returning to our starting point. That's good, it's time to accompany the olives with a bottle of wine, always in moderation of course!

Other walks coming soon

By choosing our hiking trails in our beautiful Gaillac wine region, we like to combine pleasure with pleasure: combining a walk in the heart of nature with tastings. To complete our offer, other possibilities for walks labeled by the French Hiking Federation and Vineyards & Discoveries will soon be available from wine cellars and chateaux.
